It took a full day but they have finally adapted to Alberta time. Yesterday was definitely a long day with the first public viewing and the Opening Ceremony. The weather is still cooperating, and we still haven’t seen a day without sun!
This morning consists of one more public viewing where students from around the region can come and see the future scientists of tomorrow. The majority of students have decided to practice their presentations on interested students and teachers attending this mornings session.
We are looking forward to the Discovery Day this afternoon where students are going to two different sessions that will get a chance to learn about leading edge science concepts such as: GIS Mapping, GIS Network Analysis, Robotics, Neuroscience, 3D Monitoring, and Monitoring Pollution in Water.
Hopefully we will have some time later to get the students to start blogging their own experiences.
